I wear a lot of scarves (not all at once) and was getting bored with the same ole stuff. So I started CAMP BOVA with the idea of designing and selling cool scarves with designs and slogans that I could wear as an alternative to t-shirts. Then someone mentioned we should do t-shirts as well...damn them.
Bova is a family name. "Camp" can be any definition that suits you. We like and appreciate them all: festival accommodation, summer camp, group of troops, army life, self-consciously and theatrically extravagant for the purpose of amusement.
I am a 26 year old filly named Jo and stand at 16.3 hands. My hobbies include going to gigs and making scarves for other people who go to gigs. I’m known for my blacksmithing skills and can rope a bull in 3 seconds flat. The rest's a mystery.
Tell me about your tees.
Our t-shirts and sweatshirts are fantastic quality made by American Apparel and Continental Clothing.
T-shirts tend to be slim fitting so we recommend buying one size up.
Conversely, the sweatshirts and baseball shirts are unisex American Apparel so we recommend women buy a size smaller than they would normally wear.
Scarves are all one size (40”x40”).
Washing instructions?
Individual instructions are on the garments, but as a general rule we recommend washing t-shirts and sweats inside out at 30degrees, and tumble dry low. With the scarves, we recommend you roll your sleeves up and hand wash! Do not iron directly onto the design: you can iron on the reverse or put a paper towel over it. Alternatively, do what we do and get your mom to do it.

We are currently working on original CAMP BOVA designs (which are looking rather spiffy at the moment) for all garments. Join our Mailing List and you’ll be the first to know when they’re up and running.

Why are there no photos of humans on this site?
We did think of using our friends as models. But they are really damn ugly. So, hey! If you want to email us a photo of you and your pals wearing our stuff, please do. The more bizarre the pose or exotic the location the better! In fact, we’d really love to see who’s buying our stuff. We may even get a photo gallery up and running. Please no nudity: there’s just no need for it and you might put me off my dinner!
Payment:
Our online transactions are carried out via WorldPay.
Should you wish to pay by personal cheque, please make it payable to
"Camp Bova" and include a detailed copy of your order
(including the size and quantity) as well as contact
details and your shipping address. Your items will be
posted once your cheque has cleared in accordance with
our delivery and shipping terms.
Delivery and Shipping
As a reference – you will normally receive your order within 7-10 days posted via Royal Mail. Our aim is to get your order to you ASAP, but please allow up to 14 days. Considering we make them with our own little hands, on the very rare occasion there may be a backlog, but we will email you with the option to cancel your order if you choose not to wait.
Regarding international orders: please contact us for delivery times, and please note that we are not responsible for any additional customs charges.
Shipping costs are calculated per order and not per item, so go ahead and take advantage of us:
- UK and N.Ireland - £2.50
- Europe: £5
- Rest of World: £7.50
Tax Charges
We are not responsible for any taxes due to your local authority.
Returns Policy
We do our utmost to ensure you receive your item in tiptop condition. However, should you be unhappy with your purchase, you can return any item within seven days of receipt. The item must be carefully wrapped and returned in the original condition you received it in. (Please obtain a proof of postage for your own security).
Please include your receipt/invoice, contact details (name, address, telephone, email), and reason for return/exchange.
The customer is responsible for paying the cost of returning unwanted goods, unless the goods are faulty, in which case contact us for our return instructions. If retuning/exchanging an item because you bought the wrong size, or you are not happy with it, we are not responsible for the additional cost of posting that you will incur, and we require that you cover our cost of return postage. We require the additional postage costs to be sent with the returned item.
Purchased items are deemed "unreturnable" if they have been worn or damaged.
